Get 'Flushed Away' with talking rats
Dream Works and Aardman Studio’s new movie, “Flushed Away,” is a comedy directed by Sam Fell and David Bowers III. This movie stars, Hugh Jackman voice of Roddy St. James, Kate Winslet voice of Rita, and Andy Serkis voice of Spike.
Flushed away is from the same creators of Madagascar and Shrek. This computer animated film is about a spoiled rat that gets flushed down the toilet. He gets into the sewers of London, and learns a whole new way of life.
I wanted to watch this movie, because I love animated movies, and I also love comedies. This movie was full of great animations, sound affects, and on top of that, the voices fitted the animations perfectly. There were parts in the movie where it was really random, but is what makes this movie so much cooler. Like how they
had talking, singing, and dancing slugs, they made the movie more interesting to me.
I would recommend this movie to anyone who’s up for a great laugh, and loves animated films. Although, this movie is not really made for adults, but to some it might be pretty interesting. So, I do recommend this movie to adults too, if they enjoy having good laughs, and watching family movies.
This movie is rated PG, which makes it possible for a family movie. But it does include some mild violence like when they fight in the movie but of course there is no gore. This movie also includes some crude humor, like when Roddy falls off and gets hit in the crotch multiple times.
I would rate this movie a 3 out of 5 stars. I loved how their animations were created, and I also thought the voice actors were excellent. The plot wasn’t all that great but it wasn’t so boring that I fell asleep watching it. Overall, I enjoyed watching this movie, especially with a couple of friends with me. So next time you are looking for a great animated movie to watch be sure to go and watch Flushed Away.
Rate: 3 out of 5 stars
