Must-see movies for the summer

|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
The summer of 2007 is overflowing with new movies of every genre. Here are a few movies that seem worth watching. | ||||||||
Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End (PG-13) – Yes, I know, another sequel, but with the dreamy Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom, and Keira Knightley starring in this adventure film once again, what reason do you have not to watch it? Davy Jones and the Flying Dutchman play the antagonists in this film and the supernatural is continually emphasized.People of all ages will be able to enjoy this summer flick. Opened May 24, 2007. | ||||||||
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (PG-13) – Hooray for the world of Hogwarts! Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, and Emma Watson star once again in yet another sequel to this box-office smasher. Harry Potter and Dumbledore are targeted by wizard officials regarding Lord Voldemort’s appearance in the Goblet of Fire, while drama and tension runs high throughout this movie. I expect romantic scenes and thrilling special effect scenes to play out nicely, as always. A must-see! Opens in the United States July 11, 2007. | ||||||||
Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (PG-13) – Yet again, another sequel to my list. The superhero foursome is back on the big screen with a new antagonist – the Silver Surfer. This time, the Silver Surfer wishes to cause destruction and havoc, but the Fantastic Four won’t let him without a fight. Like any other superhero-super villain movie, the Fantastic Four are off to save the world. Opens in the United States on June 15, 2007. | ||||||||
Oceans Thirteen (PG-13) – The whole summer is made up of sequels! Brad Pitt, George Clooney, and Matt Damon star in this action/adventure movie, which opens June 8, 2007. They’ll be trying to get even throughout this movie in their craziest casino heist yet. | ||||||||
