WOW! It is also known as the World of Warcraft! It is number one most popular game played by people of all ages in the world. Now creating a new expansion, “Wrath of the Lich King” with features such as levels up to eigthy, gaining potent new abilities and talents. You can also transform your hero’s look with new character customization options and also a new hero class of the Death Knight.

Blizzard the company who produces WOW has not announced the released date yet. But many stilll play the original series which are still a blast.

It is addicting and yet passes time like a drop of dime.

“I don’t play games much, but WOW is different. I enjoy the characters in the game, but the undead race has to go away. Also having your own pet and mount [while also] traveling with them on raids and killing factions are fun and exciting. It’s so fun that even my dad plays it,” Freshman Megan Wong said.

It may be the arenas that make WOW more exciting,or being able to make fun of the camp characters, WOW is loved by many of us. But the cost of $15.00 per month seems to be likely an issue into stopping WOW from becoming a favorite for all gamers in this world. I believe if they cut the monthly payed issue, that would definitely increase gamers.

“I heard Lineage Two is similar to WOW, [but] I would say it’s better than WOW because I wouldn’t need to pay fifteen dollars per month. I haven’t play it yet, but if it’s free I would definitely play it.” Freshman Annie Shi said.

But surely Blizzard would lose a lot of profit from cutting the monthly payed off, so why would they? People are addictied to WOW! Yet there is another side of us who don’t believe that WOW is such a great game.

“I just don’t like RPG games [and] also, it’s the fifteen dollars problem. My brother plays it, but I would rather play Warcraft 3 or Counterstrike.” Junior Tommy Su said.

There were a fair amount of complients and complain about the game from players and outsiders who never play it before. It’s the little issues which can become a big issue that’s stops gamers to play WOW. Many people do not enjoy losing during a battle or getting into an argument which many do, unfortunately. Camping, server crashes, and harassment insults are repeating issues for WOW players.

I personally play WOW, but I’m not addicted to it. I used to be, but I’ve realized addiction is harmful. Too much of anything is not a good thing. From my point of view, WOW is a pretty fun game. It has everything that’s needed in a game. So I believe it’s pretty much worth the price of fifteen dollars per month. My character is a tauren shaman and I love it! However, lately I been hating it due to it’s weakness and how broken the class is. Although I still enjoy playing it because the arena team and the player vs player function. I most play for the PVP. I also heard they’re buffing shamans soon, hopefully they are. But until then, I’ll still be playing World of Warcraft.
