The Westfield San Francisco Mall opens downtown on September 28, 2006 after nearly three years of renovation. It features 170 stores and boutiques, many of them new to the city. It is now home of both the second largest Bloomingdales and Nordstrom within the country. Some popular stores include Abercrombie & Fitch, BCBG, a third H&M store within that area, Hollister and Juicy Couture.
For those who aren’t big on shopping, a Century theatre with nine screens will be opening within the mall as well as The Food Emporium. Restaurants within the Emporium include Melt Gelato & Crepe Café, Askew Grill, Bistro Burger and Andale Mexican Restaurant. These restaurants provide finer dining versus the typical food court. Strangely enough, a Bristol Farm grocery store will be opening as well.
Westfield San Francisco also has great architect. The mall combines some of what once was the Emporium in 1996 with new modern design. So with great shopping, food, entertainment and design, what other reason could you have to not go?
