The iPhone is a revolutionary device that will cut down on the amount of things your pocket. With the phone, it would make it virtually out-of-date to have a computer, mp3, camera, map, newspaper, thermometer, watch, and television in your pocket. It wouldn’t be that much of a burden to carry all the technology previously stated, but no one really needs to carry a computer, map, thermometer, and television in their pocket, but with the iPhone you could have all that in a tiny phone. Every part of the iPhone is revolutionary.
One feature is a touch screen so your phone button will never get jammed. Even though it is touch screen, it still has the function that most people buy Sidekicks for; the easy texting keyboard.
Watching movies on a small screen isn’t any fun, but with the iPhone, you can turn the phone to it’s side and watch a movies using the whole phone as the screen. The whole, entire picture turns with the help of the accelerometer. The accelerometer can change the size of pictures and webpages. When the phone feels a turn, the whole picture will be turned. The most aggravating trait about cell phones is probably the way you pick up your phone to realize that it has magically dialed a number and wasted 50 of your minutes. Well, their iPhone will lock itself and the accelerometer also.
Isn’t it annoying when you use your hand to block out the glare from the sun in order to see what our looking at? Well Apple has fixed that problem also. The iPhone will notice the environment and the display will change it’s brightness automatically, through it’s light sensors.
The iPhone also has multi-finger action. The iPhone has a feature called “pinching” which allows you to zoom in by moving two fingers closer together. You could zoom in a picture and save the zoomed in portion as your wallpaper. You could also zoom into web pages.
The iPhone will contain Widgets, small applications that tell you the weather, stock, and other features in real time. Other programs include Bluetooth and Wi-fi.
For all this technology to be in your pocket, you’re going to need a big wallet. The iPhone will be released on June 2007 for the price of $499 for a four gigabyte. But for $100 more, you could own an eight gigabyte. Though not everything is finalized and these are the estimated price and dates. For the right price all this technology can be in your pocket.
