Club spotlight: the paranormal club
Have you ever wondered about the paranormal stories of life? Here at Abraham Lincoln High School there is a club for all who are interested in discussing the paranormal.
The club was started by senior Amanda Price, and is sponsored by peer resources teacher Christopher Pepper. Price started this club because believer in the paranormal type of things and she wanted to share her own interests with fellow students. Meetings are on Thursday after school in room 116.
“I decided to form the club because as a child I lived in a home that I believed to be haunted and as I got older I discovered that there
were others who shares similar experiences with me,” Price said.
Not many know about this club and it’s purpose. Most of time the club watches movies and discusses paranormal stories. They talk about various things about the paranormal. Topics include ghost stories, theories about the afterlife, and supernatural myths.
The club plans on visiting Alcatraz or a cemetery further in the school year. They want to go there to look around and take pictures.
“I enjoy the energy I get from the people who do come and I enjoy hearing people ask questions about it because it means that it somehow peeked their interest,” Price said.
