Fighting HIV/AIDS with fun and fashion

Blinding multihued lights are switched on to reveal a crisp white runway – Macy’s Passport 2007 had just begun.

Since the AIDS epidemic first received recognition in the 1980’s, over $25 million have been raised for the fight against AIDS/HIV through Macy’s Passport. The year 2007 marks Macy’s Silve Anniversary, and the event managed to surpass many’s expectations.

A plethora of promotional gifts, snacks, and AIDS/HIV awareness games began the event, held at the Herbst & Festival Pavillion in Fort Mason. Several designers showcased at Passport XXV, a few being Anna Sui, Anne Klein, Dolce & Gabbana, Levi’s Jeans, Sean John, and Tommy Hilfiger.

The night ended with a lingerie show by Calvin Clein and a silver collection by a series of designers.
