- Politics: (n.): The art or science of government or governing, especially the governing of a political entity, such as a nation, and the administration and control of its internal and external affairs.
- Democracy: (n.) government by the people; a form of government in which the supreme power is vested in the people and exercised directly by them or by their elected agents under a free electoral system.
- Republic: (n.): a state in which the supreme power rests in the body of citizens entitled to vote and is exercised by representatives chosen directly or indirectly by them.
- Caucus: (n.): Any group or meeting organized to further a special interest or cause.
- Authoritarian: favoring complete obedience or sub
- Primary: (n.): Also called primary election. a preliminary election in which voters of each party nominate candidates for office, party officers, etc.
- Liberal: (adj): favorable to progress or reform, as in political or religious affairs.
- Libertarian: a person who advocates liberty, esp. with regard to thought or conduct.
- Conservative: (n.): disposed to preserve existing conditions, institutions, etc., or to restore traditional ones, and to limit change.
