Technology is taking over the world, what happened to going out to play baseball when you are bored? People nowadays rely on technology too much, what would you do if the electricity goes out? Are you just going to sit there and mope until the electricity comes back? That’s just a total waste of time.

            I have had incidents where I was typing up a report and suddenly the computer sparks and it turns off on me. So then I try turning it on again and it does not work, I start messing with all the switches, flipping through handbooks, nothing. What am I supposed to do? I would just go crazy.  I have not saved it onto the computer yet nor have it written down anywhere. The only choice left to do is to type it all up again. Would I have had this problem if I had simply just hand written it? The answer is no. People rely on technology so much now a days that they forget what could happen if the technology suddenly turned on them.

            I have to admit that I rely on technology. However, there is so much to learn about just one thing, that it can even take up to hours just to set up your device, and then afterwards you have to spend all that time trying to figure out how it works. Then you have those problems with losing the manuals or losing parts of it. You have to go searching for the manual and order new parts, which costs you to lose precious time and money. The new parts also cost more money then when it comes with the item.

            The thing that frustrates me the most is when there are so many wires from computers, printers, scanners, television, etc. You suddenly get so much wires all tangled together that you don’t even know which one is connected to where. Also those accidental little shocks from connecting and disconnected wires from the plugs are dangerous.

           Don’t spend so much time sitting in front of the television or computer, go out and have some fun! What will technology do to you next? A device that will write everything for you so you don’t have to type or write? Don’t let technology get to you, it might turn on you when you need it the most.
