You might have heard of Steve Rogers, but you might not have heard of his little brother Sean Rogers. Following in his brother’s footsteps, Sean plans to train, play, practice, and even sweat harder. He wants to surpass his brother, and recreate the Roger’s legacy under his own name. The task before him will be challenging, but with his training, it doesn’t seem so far after all. | ||||||||
Sean was bumped up to varsity midseason, but he was still not satisfied. He wanted more. His skills were tested by the coach. The pressure was on to impress the coach and other players on the varsity team. He was tested in the tournaments they played throughout the season. Sean eventually got on the team, having to work hard to keep his spot. Even in the off season he is still continuing training. [He workouts hoping to improve himself. Sean is also playing baseball to improve himself from the basics to mechanics. He’s constantly just improving his game; after all he did say “I love baseball. It’s fun for me, that’s why I love it.”] | ||||||||
“Hitting the ball hard and far throwing people out and catching the ball diving for it.” Roger’s explained as his favorite part of the game. | ||||||||
What makes him so different than any ordinary baseball player? He constantly plays and even during the off-season you can catch him practicing baseball or lifting weights. “Each time I’m on that field I play as if it was the last time I would play. I make sure that everything that I do is good. I hustle each time.” Rogers said. | ||||||||
Besides his dedication to baseball, Sean is dedicated to Theater tech., taught by Elaine Walenta. He spends time after school, sometimes staying there until seven o’clock or even sometimes come in on Saturdays’. As well as being a talented baseball player and theater technician, he is also a first degree black belt in Tae Kwon Doe. | ||||||||
